this new point8 native app version was commissioned by NEWKD, funded by the Dept. of Agriculture, Food & the Marine and built by Loc8 Code using its own technology. It does all that point8 has done up to now Locating & Navigating with Loc8 Codes especially around rural & farm locations..... go to www.point8.ie - enter Eircode D08 XY00 - convert to Loc8 Code NP6-73-J43 - displayed on map. Create route & note that as Eircode has no relationship with access (explanation here) you are routed to the wrong street at the back of the building. Tap the map to create a Loc8 Code for the location of the access at the front - NP6-80-J43 - then reroute to the correct street & access.
